Job Description

At our client, innovation never stops. As an Automotive Engineer Vehicle Control Systems, you join the VEE Systems team within the Vehicle Engineering department. You play a pivotal role in enabling and continuing the engineering support for low-voltage vehicle control systems. Your focus lies on high-impact systems such as SAC (Smart Air-supply Control-system), EHS (Electronic Hydraulic System/rear wheel steering), and ECAS (Electronically Controlled Air Suspension).

You act as a bridge between technical complexity and practical application. In close cooperation with the Supervisor or Lead Engineer, you ensure that technical requirements regarding diagnostics and functional software behavior are perfectly aligned. You do not just monitor processes; you actively shape the development features by leading the SE team in relation to electrical development.

Providing software support for one or more systems, including creating and releasing parameter files into client systems.
Writing clear diagnostics documentation for internal stakeholders.
Leading the SE team regarding electrical development features of the systems.
Conducting technical discussions with client stakeholders and suppliers to ensure alignment on project goals.
Reporting status and progress on the development process to management.
Supporting releases and practical investigations, including resolution finding (FRACAS, eWarp) and hands-on support at the Research Centre.

To make an immediate impact within the VEE Systems team, you bring solid technical baggage. You are an expert in your field and know how to navigate the complex world of automotive electronics.
- Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience with Automotive Control Systems.
- Hands-on experience with CAN communication and diagnostic protocols.
- Proficiency in using Vector CAN tools such as CanAlyzer and CanAPE.
- Willingness to work on-site at to ensure easy alignment with the team.
